Lindora Baker, Chairman

Lindora Baker has a lifelong dedication to serving her community. Currently, she serves as the Government Affairs Director (GAD) for Northwest Louisiana Realtors Association. Previously, Ms. Baker spent 25 years educating the community at all levels of Business Development, Healthcare, and Government Affairs. She served as Regional Representative for Congressman Cleo Fields’ Congressional District 6, President/CEO of Xtreme Measures Women Business Center, SBDC Community Business Advisor for Northwest Louisiana, Community and Government Affairs Executive for University Health, Caddo Parish Commissioner,

District 6, for 12 years; and Community

Liaison for LifeCare Hospitals.

Luke Baudoin, MD

Dr. Luke Baudoin is a native of Okinawa, Japan. After graduating from Louisiana State University, he attended LSU Health Shreveport in Shreveport. He completed his residency in family medicine in 1995 and joined the faculty. He then opened a family practice for eight years before moving back to residency.

John George, MD

John F. George Jr., M.D., possesses a unique combination of business development, investment management, and clinical management expertise. Dr. George is President and CEO of BRF, an economic development organization establishing North Louisiana as a preferred destination for high-growth initiatives. Diversifying the region’s economy is its mission. It fulfills this mission through initiatives that start, recruit, and retain businesses.

Denny “Kit” Gamble, Jr.

Throughout his professional career, Mr. Denny “Kit” Gamble, Jr. has worked in many aspects of the Healthcare Field. Mr. Gamble has extensive experience with Assisted Living services, Hospitality, Nonprofits, Hospital Care, Nursing Home and Hospice Care services. Fine-tuning all his experience and expertise, Mr. Denny Gamble presently serves as Chairman of the Board at Gamble Guest Care, LLC. “Caring, dedicated, selfless, and professional” are the adjectives peers and clients use to describe Mr. Denny “Kit” Gamble, Jr. Whether serving as Chairman of the Board or as a Member, Mr. Gamble stands out as a model for those in the healthcare field.

Larry Daniels, MD

Dr. Larry Clyde Daniels is a retired family practice physician who practiced in Shreveport and the Keithville area since March 1984.

He was also involved in the early medical leadership and establishment of the David Raines Community Health Centers in 1992. Dr. Daniels brings 43 years of experience treating patients across Louisiana. He earned his medical degree from McGovern Medical School at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and completed his residency at LSU Health Sciences.

Kathryn Thomas, President / CEO

Kathryn Thomas, LPC, built her career on integrating mental health counseling with specialized medical interventions for substance use disorders. She founded AppleGate Recovery, which provided services for OUD and was later acquired by BayMark Health Services. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor and primarily an entrepreneur with a heart for helping.

Donna Barnet, Lead Medical

Donna Barnet served as a Trauma Chaplain for the past 12 years and as a registered nurse prior to that. She received her MSN from Loyola University New Orleans, and her BSN from Northwestern State University. With her background in intensive care and extensive experience in trauma care,

Barnet brings a unique and valuable perspective to the Connections team. “I came into contact with many people struggling with addiction. My family was also devastated by this disease. I find it so rewarding to work to help patients to break the cycle of addiction. It is very meaningful to me.”

Nicholas Campbell, Community Development & Government Affairs

Nicholas Campbell is a Louisiana community development and government affairs professional with more than 18 years of experience building partnerships between communities, government agencies, businesses, and nonprofit organizations.

Nicholas brings extensive experience in campaign management, government relations, stakeholder engagement, public affairs, fundraising, and community outreach.

In developing opioid treatment initiatives, he is focused on expanding access to evidence-based addiction treatment in underserved communities and building community partnerships that connect individuals and families with the resources they need to recover.
